Micaela, a San Diego native raised in Chula Vista, is the youngest of three siblings. She graduated from Olympian High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Chicana/o Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in public advocacy and legal work for underrepresented communities.
Having previously interned with Amezola Legal Group, Micaela has rejoined the team as a legal assistant. Her interest in the legal field was sparked at a young age due to her immigrant background and the impacts of migration on her family.
Micaela plans to attend law school in the fall of 2025. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks in local parks, and visiting farmers’ markets in the San Diego area. Micaela is a Legal Assistant at Amezola Legal Group, APC.
